Eastern Redbud is a sturdy deciduous small tree or shrub that is among the first trees to bloom every year. It is famous for its eye-catching rosy pink blooms with a touch of purple. Its full-grown leaf are glossy and dark green during Summer, and then turns into yellow during Fall. It also produces edible, rose-colored legumes during Summer.
