This stunning tree is also called Grancy Graybeard, Snowflower Tree, Old Man's Beard or Flowering Ash. It has a shiny, dark green leaves that turn into yellow during Fall and a light gray trunk with a white streak. It can be used as a specimen plant, in enclosed gardens, nearby tall buildings and as a border. It can also be planted nearby ponds and streams. This deciduous tree is resistant to air pollution and wind. It will grow best in moist and well-drained soil. It also needs full sun to partly shade.
